Control 200 Series premium in-ceiling loudspeakers are designed for applications where superior musical impact, voice clarity and high sound levels are required. Extremely wide coverage from 6.5" coaxial drivers allows fewer speakers to cover a larger area, reducing overall system cost without sacrificing sound quality. Best-in-class pattern control ensures that everyone within the listening area hears the high-quality mix of sound. Premium accessories include thick-metal backcan with internal MDF reinforcement for better bass response and contemporary grilles that fit into any décor. An especially strong tile bridge for installing into suspended ceilings reduces rattling artifacts.

EXCEPTIONAL SOUND QUALITY

• Superior sound is enhanced by Kevlar™ reinforced woofer cones for extended low-end response, while JBL's titanium-diaphragm compression drivers reproduce high frequencies with clarity and impact. High-slope asymmetrical crossovers provide an extremely smooth, natural sound character. For 70V/100V applications, low-saturation transformers provide the sound quality of a low-impedance system in distributed applications.

INSTALLATION FLEXIBILITY

• Whether the installation calls for pre-installed/pre-piped backcans or all-in-one install, Control 200 Series has it covered! Control 227C & 227CT are designed for installations calling for pre-installed backcan, using the line's pre-install backbox and sculpted grille. In contrast, Control 226C/T is designed for quick “blind-mount” installations with the all-in-one convenience of an integrated, attached backcan. For both cases, Control 200 Series loudspeakers wire easily and quickly with clip-in connections. In addition, Control 226C/T is designed with the flexibility to be used in either low-impedance or 70V/100V distributed systems. Medium-Format In-Ceiling Loudspeakers.
